Supported Firmware
The AeroMind™ 6x flight controller supports both PX4 and ArduPilot firmware stacks.
Firmware can be flashed using Mission Planner (for ArduPilot) or QGroundControl (for PX4).
You can download the firmware manually from:
firmware.ardupilot.org

Flashing Instructions
PX4 Firmware Installation
- Connect the AeroMind™ 6x flight controller to your PC using USB.
- Open QGroundControl.
- Navigate to:
QGroundControl → Vehicle Setup → Firmware
- QGC will detect the board automatically. Select the PX4 firmware version to install.
- Follow on-screen instructions to complete flashing.
- After flashing, proceed with sensor calibration and parameter tuning as prompted.
ArduPilot Firmware Installation
- Connect the flight controller to your PC using USB.
- Open Mission Planner.
- Go to:
Initial Setup → Install Firmware
- Click on the relevant firmware type (e.g., Plane, Copter, Rover).
- Mission Planner will detect the board as
Pixhawk 6X
and flash the correct firmware. - After flashing, calibrate accelerometer, compass, and radio.
Notes
- Ensure that USB drivers are correctly installed on your system.
- Avoid interrupting the flashing process.
- Backup existing parameters before changing firmware.
